Story Maps and Timelines

The other week in class we discussed several mediums that can be used to list information and display them for an audience, particularly StoryMap JS and Timeline JS, which are very easy to use and are perfect for history students.These particular websites can prove very useful for all of use students due to the endless applications of knowledge at our disposal. For instance, we could use Storymap JS for our Mountain Dance and Folk Festival project and use the application to map out where different dancers and musicians are from. Of course Timeline JS will always be useful for us because of it’s presentation of information.  Here are my examples to demonstrate how to begin to use some of these applications. UNC Men’s Basketball Championships and Places In My Life
